It looks like American Idol has finally found its third and final Season 13 judge.

Following rejections by Diddy, Kanye West, Dr.. Luke and Scotter Braun, Us Weekly confirms that Harry Connick Jr.. will join Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez on the show's panel when auditions start up again in January next.

Connick to mentor the singers, on twitter.
"@ HarryConnickJr. Might be a judge on American Idol! He loves to follow in my footsteps. It's like having a boring little brother."

Connick also said in May that he was open to the gig, even detailing what sort of panelist he would be:.
"I think you need to be completely honest and I think you need to be diplomatic," he said. "I think there's no reason to be mean, but it's called being a judge."
